Mathematical and Astronomical Society of University of Colombo is organizing a competition to select the best webcast designed for the 2010 January 15th Annular Solar Eclipse to provide live webcast on the solar eclipse of January 15th 2010 School astronomy societies and individuals those who wish to participate at this competition can link their websites to the MAS web site www.uocmas.info and the public can view the eclipse through the internet on the same web site. Interested parties should send in an e-mail with their links to MAS e-mail address team@uocmas.info and for the technical support contact web masters.

Dr. Chandana Jayarathna, The Senior Treasurer and Advisor of MAS, University of Colombo, A certificate and cash award will be given to the winners of this competition.

කොළඹ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලීය ගණිත හා තාරකා විද්‍යා සංගමය විසින් එළඹෙන ජනවාරි 15 දින වළයාකාර සුර්ය ග්‍රහනය නිමිත්තෙන් සජීවී අන්තර්ජාල විකාශන තරඟාවලියක් සංවිධානය කිරීමට තීරණය කොට ඇත. තරඟකරුවන් විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරන සජීවී දර්ශන සංගමයේ වෙබ් අඩවියේ සජීවීව විකාශනය කරනු ලැබේ. මේ සඳහා උනන්දුවක් දක්වන තාරකා විද්‍යා සංගම්, පාසැල් හා අනෙකුත් අය පහත දැක්වෙන විද්‍යුත් තැපැල් ලිපිනයන්ට තමන්ගේ විස්තර යොමු කරන්න.

තරඟයේ ජයග්‍රාහකයින්ට මුදල් ත්‍යාග හා සහතික පත්‍ර පිරි නමනු ලැබේ.
